Top tips for testing with compound kits

1.) Understanding Ampule E:
A Single-Step Test, Solely Intended For Testing Clenbuterol

Testing Clenbuterol only requires one ampule, the new ROIDTEST™ Ampule E. This is actually the first ampule that we released intended to be used solely as a one-step test. For all other substances, we recommend pairing two ampules, as indicated on the color chart. Furthermore, it is the first ampule we introduced with the capability to provide an assessment as to the strength of the sample in question. This means that this one-step test not only confirms the presence of clenbuterol in your sample, but also has distinct color reactions when higher or lower concentrations of clenbuterol are present! This is a remarkable advancement to our testing technology and provides a level of insight that was previously unattainable from an at-home testing kit.

It is important to note that this ampule, like all ROIDTEST™ ampules, is not intended to be used with aqueous (water-based) solutions. Adding water into ANY of the ampules will cause an extremely hot reaction, hot enough even to potentially shatter the glass ampule. We insist that no customers ever attempt to test a sample that is not either oil-based, a powder or a pill in any ROIDTEST™ testing ampule. However, there is one work-around for water-based suspensions. The user will place a handful of drops from their sample onto parchment paper and wait for the water to evaporate. Once the water completely evaporates, you will be left with a powder residue on the parchment paper. You will then add the sample, now in a dry powdered consistency, into the provided testing ampules. Lastly, you’ll simply note the color reaction that occurs and compare it with the provided color chart.

Ampule E is intended to be used with tablets and capsules. As always, when testing a tablet you will want to crush it into a powder-like consistency and drop a small sample, only the size of a match head, into the provided testing ampule. When testing a capsule, simply empty out a small portion of the powder within the capsule, roughly the size of a match head. From here, you will see the distinct color reaction take place in the ampule within moments. Your testing kit comes complete with a color chart, with distinct color reactions indicating if clenbuterol is present, as well as indicating the strength of the sample.

2.) Understanding Our New Semi-Quantitative Series:
Ampules F, G & Catalyst Solution H

When performing a Semi-Quantitative (rough dose-range detecting) analysis, the Catalyst Solution H must always be used. Ampules F and G cannot be used on their own, and similarly the Catalyst Solution H cannot be used solo either. When performing a [Semi-Quantitative Test for testosterone cypionate or testosterone enanthate you will pair Ampule F with Catalyst Solution H. Testing nandrolone decanoate or trenbolone enanthate, on the other hand, will require Ampule G and Catalyst Solution H. You must always use catalyst solution H when performing a Semi-Quantitative test.

As with all ROIDTEST™ ampules, you will start by very lightly tapping the bottom of the ampule on a flat surface, to help settle the contents. After opening either Ampule F or G (depending on the substance being tested), you will want to take a precise account of how much of the oil-based preparation you drop inside. Your testing kit comes with step-by-step instructions, and a color chart complete with the distinct color reactions corresponding with which dosage range your sample falls within. You will want to review all 7 steps, as well as the color chart, prior to performing the test. This will help to ensure you are familiar with how to perform the test and there is not any confusion during the testing process.

Step 3 is where you will want to make sure you are very precise, this is where performing the test begins to differ from our other tests. You will need to check what gauge needle you are using, as this test requires 4-5 drops from a 21 gauge needle, 5-6 drops from a 22 gauge needle or 6-7 drops from a 23 gauge needle. These are popular sizes of needles, that many of our customers already have on hand. This makes dosing remarkably easy for the user.

The 4th step is simple, you will wait 60 seconds before moving on to the next step (it is nice to have a timer handy, or use the timer function on your smartphone). After exactly one minute has passed, you will now add Catalyst Solution H to your F or G Ampule. Gently swirl the ampule to mix the contents, and you have completed the 5th step.

At this point, all you need to do is compare the color reaction to the included color chart. You will clearly see the different shades on the color chart, which indicate whether your sample contains no steroid, approximately 50mg/ml, approximately 100mg/ml or approximately 200+mg/ml. The information gained at this point will assist greatly in dosing the sample in question, or avoiding using bunk gear with no steroid present.

The final step is to dispose safely of your testing ampule. As with all ROIDTEST™ ampules, you will want to discard the ampule immediately after use. There is no additional information to be gained by a change in color reactions hours or days later. All ampules will darken over time, once they have been used.

3.) Understanding Semi-Quantitative Testing

Throughout the last two tips you have heard me mention the term “semi-quantitative” more than a few times. I wanted to break down exactly what this means. A semi-quantitative test provides an estimate of how much of a detected substance is present within the sample being tested. The term “quantitative” refers to the quantity, or amount of the drug present. A fully quantitative test provides an exact number quantifying how much drug is present. This is only possible with state of the art equipment that costs tens of thousands of dollars.

Thankfully, ROIDTEST™ found a solution and was able to create remarkably affordable at-home testing kits, with the ability to detect the dose range present, though not to the exact milligram. This lack of providing an exact number (quantity) is why these are considered “semi-quantitative” testing kits. Instead of giving you a read out of exactly X mg/ml being present, different very distinct color reactions will occur when different amounts of the steroid are present in your sample. These new tests are able to detect if there is roughly 50mg/ml, 100mg/ml, or 200+mg/ml present in the sample being tested.

Essentially, what this means for our application is that the new ROIDTEST™ Semi-Quantitative series allows you to finally know roughly how much steroid is present in your sample. This is truly revolutionary for an at-home testing kit. Being able to detect the dosage range present in your sample provides a remarkable amount of insight regarding proper dosing. Many use these new tests to weed out sources who are providing them with underdosed preparations. This is just as prevalent of an issue as the wrong steroid being present, or no steroid being present at all.

4**.) Pairing Substance-ID™ and Semi-Quantitative Tests**

The substance differentiation capabilities of our original Substance-ID™ tests still remains the gold standard for ester differentiation and establishing which of the 24 anabolic steroids we can test for is present. Many users like to perform an extremely thorough analysis on their sample, by first using a Substance-ID™ test to confirm which steroid is present (if any), before going on to then use the new Semi-Quantitative kit to determine the rough quantity present.

Others are already confident that their sample contains the steroid as labeled, but have their suspicions about the labeled dosage being accurate. Of course, many underground preparations are underdosed. There is a two-fold incentive at the time of manufacture for an underground lab to underdose the product. The first is the cost per unit, which of course goes down with less active ingredient (steroidal hormone) in each bottle. The second, is that they can produce more total units by using less active in each bottle. The lower dose contained in the preparation actually presents a third incentive, as users may end up purchasing more bottles and continuing to increase their dosage in order to get results, due to the low amount of steroid actually present in their sample.

The choice is yours, whether to first use a Substance-ID™ test to determine which steroid (including ester) is present, or go straight for the Semi-Quantitative test. Of course, for the most thorough analysis that can be provided by an at-home testing kit, you will want to pair the Substance-ID™ and Semi-Quantitative tests. We certainly understand though, the many who feel that their sample has the hormone as labeled, but likely not the correct dosage. These customers tend to prefer just purchasing the Semi-Quantitative test straight away.
